Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber is particularly recommended. The parameters of the Compatta pump offer an alternative to pumps with a macerator, which often becomes clogged, exposing users to operating difficulties. The free passage under the impeller for solids measuring from 30 to 50 mm (depending on the model) ensures long-lasting operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage content perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with free passage under the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The thick impeller walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, the parameters of the available pipeline should be checked, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Compatta is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control Compatta pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and dual-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-contactor and microprocessor-based power and control panels.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, waste). Compatta sewage pumps can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Compatta has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing adequate clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes as standard with a 10-meter power cable. Apart from the Compatta 1-1.5, which has a vertical outlet, the other models work perfectly with EASY coupling feet.
