What will the water demand be?

The flow rate, in l/min or m³/h, largely depends on the number of taps or discharge points that may be used at the same time.

What pressure will be needed?

Losses generated while pumping through the pipeline, both in vertical and horizontal sections, as well as when supplying water at a specified pressure to higher floors or larger installation systems, will increase the pump’s required pressure-generating capacity.

In practice, this means that the requirements for pumps in multi-story homes or large installation systems are higher than those for single-story homes and small installations.
