Control cabinets

DAMBAT offers professional control cabinets for monitoring pump operation in pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, and installations built according to the customer's specific guidelines. All cabinets we manufacture feature a range of protections and conveniences essential for ensuring the proper operation of and protecting your pumps:
- SPP for domestic pumping stations,
- SPS for municipal wastewater pumping stations,
- SPD for stormwater pumping stations.
Advanced control systems for pumping stations manufactured by DAMBAT perform a range of monitoring and protection functions for pump operation. They are ideal for residential communities, schools, offices, large companies, and professional municipal applications. They enable pumps to operate automatically or be switched to manual operation. The cabinet enclosure can be used outdoors without concern about rain, snow, or dust. A warning beacon on the enclosure signals pump failure, overflow, or other problems with the pumping station. The modular design allows damaged components, for example those damaged by power surges, to be replaced quickly.
Differences in the design of SPP and SPS/SPD control cabinets
Due to their simplified design, SPP control cabinets do not have an operator panel or internal doors (also known as a cover panel), and the control buttons are mounted directly on the components attached to the mounting rails. A plinth is optional and available at an additional cost. In addition to an operator panel with convenient buttons/knobs and indicator lights, SPS and SPD control cabinets can be expanded with additional functions presented in the table below.

Each of our control cabinets has a fire-resistant polyester enclosure equipped with door seals, watertight cable glands, and at least one key-lockable lock to prevent accidental opening by unauthorized persons.
Inside the cabinets, you will find their wiring diagram and detailed instructions for connecting the pump, level sensor, and main power cables.
Level sensors and operating modes:
Depending on requirements, different types of level change signaling sets are used:
- On the float switches:
- ZSP-3 – 3 float switches: Dry run - Stop/Start - Alarm,
- ZSP-4 – 4 float switches: Dry run - Stop - Start - Alarm,
- ZSP-5 – 5 float switches: Dry run - Stop - Start 1 - Start 2 - Alarm.
- On the conductivity probes:
- ZSP-5S – 5 conductivity probes: Dry run - Stop - Start - Alarm,
- ZSP-6S – 6 conductivity probes: Dry run - Stop - Start 1 - Start 2 - Alarm.
- On the hydrostatic probe:
- ZSP-SH2P - Hydrostatic probe + 2 float switches.
An example ZSP signaling set consists of:
- Float switches, conductivity probes, or a hydrostatic probe with float switches,
- Stainless steel chain,
- Stainless steel hook for securing in the pumping station tank,
- Cast iron weight preventing level sensors from shifting due to liquid swirling in the tank.
