The suction and discharge components are based on a stable body cast from ASTM25B cast iron.
The liquid is pumped by a three-phase, asynchronous, two-pole motor with a squirrel-cage rotor, allowing 100 starts per hour of operation. The unit uses a cartridge mechanical seal (silicon carbide/tungsten carbide/EPDM) that withstands high operating pressures of up to 25 bar.
