The liquid is pumped by a three-phase, two-pole asynchronous motor with a squirrel-cage rotor, which allows for 100 starts per hour of operation. The unit uses a pack mechanical seal (silicon carbide/tungsten carbide/EPDM), withstanding high operating pressures of up to 25 bar. The pump has very low noise emissions, limited to 53 dB(A).
