The pump's design is based on a proven in-line connector system, which allows for trouble-free installation of the unit directly in the pipeline. The impellers, diffusers, shaft and outer casing of the engine are made of durable stainless steel, protecting the mechanism against corrosion. The suction and pressure elements are mounted on a stable body cast from ASTM25B cast iron.
The pump is driven by an asynchronous three-phase motor (two-pole with a squirrel-cage rotor), which allows for 100 starts per hour of operation. A durable pack mechanical seal (silicon carbide/tungsten carbide/EPDM) is used here, withstanding high operating pressure of 25 bar. The pump has very low noise emissions, limited to 55 dB(A).
