The AM-AT series is designed for pumping clean water or lightly contaminated wastewater. Its high hydraulic efficiency makes this series particularly suitable for pumping rainwater, surface water, groundwater, swimming pools, and waterways.
Pumps in this series can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the ATEX certificate available on request (-EX versions).
Features
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure proper product operation. A version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber is also available.
Advantages of the AM-AT series wastewater pumps
Unlike the BIC series, AM-AT series pumps have a threaded side outlet. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certification for the pumps, as well as the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a cable gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The AM-AT series has only one passage size, limited by a mesh screen with 20x10 mm openings. The pumps work effectively with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet and discharge pipelines from DN32 upward.
The open, two-bladed impellers handle even wastewater with a high sand content exceptionally well. The impeller walls are thick enough to ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
Features
• High pressure at low power consumption,
• Compact pump dimensions,
• Effective pumping of dirty water and rainwater,
• An inlet screen that prevents debris from entering the pump,
• The threaded side outlet allows a flexible hose to be attached with a hose clamp or quick coupling,
• Thermal protection built into the motor winding,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable with bare wire ends,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Control
AM-AT pumps are available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-and-contactor power and control switchboards: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow terminating in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight, portable dewatering pump for liquids with a high solids content, such as gravel, sand, and debris. AM-AT pumps are used for dewatering mines (especially EX versions), transferring process water at treatment plants, and operating in demanding industrial conditions. The pumps have stable feet extending from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water to enter.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, AM-AT pumps come standard with a 10-meter power cable.
