The AM-AT series is designed for pumping clean water or light wastewater. Its high hydraulic efficiency makes this series particularly suitable for pumping rainwater, surface water, groundwater, swimming pool water, and water from streams and rivers.
Pumps in this series can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the ATEX certificate available on request (-EX versions).
Specifications
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure proper product operation. A version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber is available.
Advantages of the AM-AT series dirty-water pumps
Unlike the BIC series, AM-AT series pumps feature a threaded side outlet. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certificates for the pumps and essential equipment such as a special cable with a gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The AM-AT series has only one passage size, restricted by a mesh filter with 20x10 mm openings. The pumps work effectively with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet and discharge pipelines from DN32 upwards.
The open, two-blade impellers handle even heavily sand-laden wastewater with ease. The impeller's thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
Features
• High pressure at low power consumption,
• Compact pump dimensions,
• Effective pumping of dirty water and rainwater,
• Inlet screen limiting the entry of debris,
• Threaded side outlet enables the installation of a flexible hose with a clamp or quick coupling,
• Float switch controlling pump operation and protecting it against dry running,
• Thermal protection built into the motor winding,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with a starter box,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Control
AM-AT pumps are available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-and-contactor power and control panels, SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and debris). AM-AT pumps are used for drainage in mines (especially EX applications), transferring process water at wastewater treatment plants, and in demanding industrial conditions. The pumps have stable feet extending from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water to enter.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, the AM-AT comes standard with a 10-meter power cable.
