The AM-AT series is designed for pumping clean water or light wastewater. Its high hydraulic efficiency makes this series particularly suitable for pumping rainwater, surface water, groundwater, swimming pools, and watercourses.
Pumps in this series can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the ATEX certificate available on request (EX versions).
Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure correct product operation. The version is available with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.
Advantages of AM-AT series dirty-water pumps
Unlike the BIC series, AM-AT series pumps have a threaded side outlet. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certificates for the pumps and the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The AM-AT series has only one passage size, restricted by a mesh screen with 20x10 mm openings. The pumps work successfully with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet, as well as discharge pipelines from DN32 upward.
The open, two-blade impellers handle even heavily sand-laden wastewater perfectly. The thick impeller walls are suitable for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
Features
• High pressure at low power consumption,
• Compact pump dimensions,
• Effective pumping of dirty water and rainwater,
• Inlet screen preventing debris from entering the pump,
• Threaded side outlet allows a flexible hose to be fitted with a clamp or quick coupling,
• Thermal protection built into the motor winding,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with a plug,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Control
AM-AT pumps are available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-and-contactor-type power and control switchboards: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, and debris). AM-AT pumps are used for dewatering mines (especially EX applications), transferring process water at treatment plants, and operating in difficult industrial conditions. The pumps have stable feet extending from the pump body, providing adequate clearance beneath the housing for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, the AM-AT comes standard with a 10 m power cable.
