The AM-AT series is designed for pumping clean water or light wastewater. Its high hydraulic efficiency makes this series particularly suitable for pumping rainwater, surface water, groundwater, swimming pools, and waterways.
Pumps in this series can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the ATEX certificate available on request (-EX versions).
Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. A version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber is also available.
Advantages of AM-AT series wastewater pumps
Unlike the BIC series, AM-AT series pumps have a threaded side outlet. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certificates for the pumps and the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a cable gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The AM-AT series has only one passage size, restricted by a mesh filter with 20x10 mm openings. The pumps work successfully with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet, as well as discharge pipelines from DN32 upward.
The open two-blade impellers handle even heavily sand-laden wastewater perfectly. The impeller’s thick walls ensure years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
Features
• High pressure at low power consumption,
• Compact pump dimensions,
• Effective pumping of dirty water and rainwater,
• Inlet strainer preventing debris from entering the pump,
• Threaded side outlet enables the installation of a flexible hose with a clamp or quick coupling,
• Thermal protection built into the motor winding,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with a plug,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Control
AM-AT pumps are available in various versions combining single-phase and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float and an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-and-contactor power and control cabinets: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable drainage pump for handling liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, and debris). AM-AT pumps are used for drainage in mines (especially EX applications), transferring process water at wastewater treatment plants, and in demanding industrial conditions. The pumps have stable feet protruding from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, the AM-AT comes standard with a 10-meter power cable.
