Specifications
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The free passage under the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding machines. Macerator blades quickly become dull in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with free passage under the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require a higher power rating.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps, except for versions with a built-in float switch, we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump lifting stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet protruding from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
