Ball check valves are safety devices that protect pressurized pipelines against unwanted backflow. They are most commonly used on discharge risers in pumping stations for domestic and municipal wastewater and in pumping stations forrainwater. The design and materials allow for wide use in installations inside wastewater pumping station tanks, on above-ground transmission pipelines, and also for underground installation in both vertical andand horizontal (while maintaining the correct flow direction).

- EN1092-2 PN16 and AS4087, AS4087 (AS2129 Table E),
- ISO 228-1 with regard to BSP threads,
- Category A, ISO5208 standard,
- EN558-1 series 48 (DIN3202 F6).

Threaded valve diameter range: from DN25 (1”) up to DN65 (2-1/2”).
- Flanged valve diameter range: DN50 to DN100.
- Maximum operating pressure: 16 bar.
- Minimum back pressure ensuring tightness: 0.3 to 0.5 bar.
- Test pressure:
- for the ball seat: 1.1 × normal pressure,
- – for the body: 1.5 × normal pressure.

Operating temperature range: 10–80°C.

The face-to-face length of the valves and the connection sizes of the flanges and threads comply with the requirements of the standards listed above.

The correct direction of liquid flow through the valve is indicated by the arrow on the body.

The durable and simple design ensures long-term trouble-free operation.

The valve closure (shutter) consists of a smooth ball coated with a layer of EPDM resistant to sewage. As the ball rotates freely in the seat, into which it is moved by the liquid flow, the ball is cleaned of solid particles carried by the medium.

The valves have a bolted inspection cover for inspection and convenient cleaning if non-standard sewage contents enter the valve.
