Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.

The Alpha V sewage pump is an ideal solution for those looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The parameters of the Alpha V pump make it an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, causing operating difficulties for the user. The 35 mm free passage under the impeller allows long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage contents perfectly, while macerators act like winding reels. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage under the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, the specifications of the available pipeline should be checked, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. To control sewage pumps (except versions with an integrated float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers, or the IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based designs.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and waste). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing adequate clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, which means they are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
