With hydrophore systems, we obtain and maintain constant water pressure in a home that is not connected to the public water supply network. When installing a hydrophore system, we should remember to place it inside the building or in the basement, avoiding overheating or freezing of the water. Connecting the hydrophore system to the well and the home's water installations is not complicated, and anyone can do it themselves.
Hydrophore System Installation
Installing a hydrophore system is not complicated, provided that all the rules for the individual installation stages are followed.
The installation stages are as follows:
- Installing the suction pipe in a deep well
The suction pipe is lowered into the well. We screw the check valve, the pipe connection, and the strainer onto the end of the suction pipe, then seal the entire assembly with Teflon tape. Once the suction foot valve has been assembled, we lower it into the deep well.
- Installing the check valve and impeller protection filter
We connect the check valve sealed with Teflon tape to the hydrophore system (the valve prevents water from flowing back from the tank into the pipe). Then we screw a special filter protecting the pump impellers onto it.
- Installing dry-run protection
We install special dry-run protection on the hydrophore system, which will stop the pump if there is no access to water. We seal the device with Teflon tape and screw it into the appropriate place on the hydrophore system.
- Connecting the hydrophore system to the well
The next stage is installing a ball valve, which makes it possible to shut off the water supply in the event of a failure. We screw it into the appropriate place on the system protecting the hydrophore system against dry running.
- Installing the pipe supplying the home's water supply system
Once the ball valve has been installed, we screw the supply pipe onto it. This pipe delivers water to the home's water supply system. We always install the pipe above the ball valve so that, in the event of a failure, the water supply to the household installations can be easily shut off.
- Installing the suction pipe to the hydrophore system
Next, we connect the suction pipe. It is long and rigid, so an additional flexible pipe is used for the connection. We firmly screw one end of the suction pipe to one end of the flexible pipe, and connect the other end of the flexible pipe to the appropriate inlet on the hydrophore system with the check valve and impeller protection filter.
- Starting and adjusting the hydrophore system
We fill the entire installation with water and start the pump. We adjust the pressure switch so that it controls the pump's operation appropriately.
