Description
ZWE 50-42 – submersible sewage pump with a cutting impeller
The IPRO ZWE 50-42 submersible pump is a professional device with a cutting impeller, designed for pumping raw sewage and liquids containing solid or fibrous particles. The high-quality hardened-steel impeller effectively shreds contaminants at the pump inlet, enabling safe operation even when the pumped medium is heavily contaminated.
Who is it for?
- Operators of sewage pumping stations and treatment plants – the cutting impeller enables the handling of sewage containing solid contaminants without the risk of clogging the pump.
- Farms and livestock holdings – the pump handles the drainage of domestic and farm wastewater, dirty water, and rainwater and surface water.
- Construction and service companies – the simple design and easy disassembly make the pump convenient for dewatering excavations and carrying out routine maintenance work.
- Irrigation system installers – the high resistance of the shredding system to abrasion and corrosion makes it suitable for extensive irrigation systems for green areas.
Applications
The ZWE 50-42 submersible pump is designed for raw sewage and liquids containing solid or fibrous particles no longer than 80% of the pump outlet diameter. It is suitable for supplying raw water, draining dirty water and domestic and farm wastewater, use in irrigation systems, and dewatering excavations.
Due to its cutting-impeller design, the ZWE 50-42 pump is not intended for highly corrosive media or media containing abrasive or corrosive particles. The ZWE 50-42 400V submersible pump performs well wherever the pumped medium contains solid contaminants that need to be shredded before pumping, for example in sewage pumping stations, on farms, or on construction sites during excavation dewatering.
The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
ZWE 50-42 features – description and technical data
The motor and pump housing, impeller, and oil chamber are made of ŻL200 gray cast iron, making the design resistant to abrasion and impacts typical of operation in a heavily contaminated sewage environment. The pump shaft and fasteners are made of stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance during prolonged contact with moisture and sewage. The impeller and cutting plate are made of hardened steel, ensuring high resistance of the shredding system to abrasion even in an aggressive environment.
The motor operates in insulation class F and is protected by thermal protection built into the stator winding. In addition, two independent moisture sensors – in the oil chamber and the motor chamber – signal any water ingress before drive failure occurs. The unique structure of the cutting disc, with grooves and a scraper, effectively removes shredded solids, preventing them from accumulating on the impeller.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – ZWE 50-42 submersible pump
What is the ZWE 50-42 pump intended for?
The IPRO ZWE 50-42 submersible pump is designed for raw sewage and liquids containing solid or fibrous particles no longer than 80% of the pump outlet diameter. It is suitable for sewage pumping stations, irrigation systems, and excavation dewatering.
How does the ZWE pump differ from the WE pump?
The ZWE pump is equipped with a hardened-steel cutting impeller that shreds solid contaminants at the pump inlet, whereas the WE pump has a closed two-channel impeller without shredding components. As a result, the ZWE is suitable for sewage with a higher content of solid contaminants than the WE series.
Can the ZWE 50-42 pump operate continuously?
Yes, the pump is designed for permissible continuous operation when fully submerged in liquid, allowing continuous use in pumping stations without the need for regular breaks.
How is the pump motor protected against damage?
The motor is protected by thermal protection built into the stator winding and two independent moisture sensors – one in the oil chamber and one in the motor chamber – which signal any water ingress before drive failure occurs.
What is included with the ZWE 50-42?
The pump comes with a coupling foot, a pump lifting hook, and a guide-rail bracket, enabling stationary installation in a pumping station without the need to purchase additional accessories.
Where can I buy the ZWE 50-42 submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. The ZWE 50-42 pump is available from sales partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
