WZI 250 hydrobooster 24 – 230 V hydrobooster set with a 24 L tank
The WZI 250 with a 24 L hydrobooster tank is a hydrobooster set for the automatic intake and pumping of raw water in households. It combines a single-stage, self-priming WZI 250 peripheral pump with a power rating of 0.25 kW, a 24 L diaphragm tank, and pressure control equipment. When a water outlet is opened, the pump starts automatically, and when it is closed, the pump switches off – the system operates without manual control.
Who it is for
-
Owners of single-family homes with their own water source – the WZI 250 hydrobooster set maintains stable water pressure in a domestic installation with low demand.
-
Owners of vacation homes and allotments – the compact system with a 24 L tank provides water from a private well without a mains water connection.
-
Users who value durability – the pump’s brass impeller provides resistance to abrasion and a long service life for the hydraulic system.
-
Water system installers – the built-in check valve and factory-selected equipment shorten the time required to complete and commission the installation.
Applications
The IBO WZI 250 hydrobooster set with a 24 L hydrobooster tank is designed for the automatic intake and pumping of clean, technically suitable, cold raw water in single-family homes, vacation homes, and allotments. Its suction capacity reaches up to 8 m. It is suitable for pumping water from wells, tanks, and private water sources, as well as for increasing pressure in a system supplying an installation. The set is not a water treatment device – if the water is used for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate treatment.
The pressure switch automatically starts and disconnects the pump depending on the pressure in the system, while the 24 L diaphragm tank stabilizes the pressure and reduces the frequency of motor starts. The dedicated equipment, factory-selected for the pump, simplifies the process of completing and installing the system. The set operates on a 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz power supply.
WZI 250 hydrobooster 24 features – description and technical data
The set is based on a single-stage, self-priming peripheral pump with a built-in check valve that protects the system against water backflow and eliminates the need to install an external check valve. The pump body is made of cast iron, the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the impeller is made of brass, ensuring durability and resistance to abrasion. Thermal protection is built into the motor winding.
The pressure gauge is mounted on a five-way discharge outlet, which creates a single connection point for the tank, installation, and control equipment, making it easier to route the installation in multiple directions. The anti-vibration hose with an elbow limits the transmission of pump vibrations to the tank and piping.
In addition to the standard pump-and-tank configuration, the WZI 250 pump itself can be connected to PC or SK series hydrobooster controllers, as well as to the IVR-02 frequency converter. These controllers also protect the pump against dry running. Our range of controllers dedicated to IBO hydrobooster sets is available on our page.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – WZI 250 hydrobooster set, 24 L tank
What is included in the WZI 250 hydrobooster 24 set?
The set includes: WZI 250 pump, 24 L diaphragm tank, anti-vibration hose with elbow, five-way discharge outlet, pressure gauge, and pressure switch. Additional equipment and tanks with other capacities can be found here.
What are the benefits of a brass impeller in the WZI 250 pump?
The brass impeller provides high resistance to abrasion and a long service life for the hydraulic system. Combined with the built-in check valve, which protects the system against water backflow, it creates a durable, maintenance-free system.
What tank capacity should I choose for the set?
The WZI 250 pump can be paired with tanks with capacities of 24, 50, 80, and 100 L, in horizontal, vertical, and stainless-steel versions. A larger tank starts the pump less frequently and provides a greater water reserve, while a smaller one takes up less space. To select a configuration for your individual needs, contact the Dambat technical department.
Does the set operate automatically?
Yes – the pressure switch starts the pump when a water outlet is opened and switches it off when it is closed. The diaphragm tank stabilizes the pressure and reduces the frequency of motor starts.
Can the WZI 250 pump be connected to a hydrobooster controller?
Yes – in addition to the standard configuration with a diaphragm tank, the WZI 250 pump can be paired with PC or SK series hydrobooster controllers, or with an IVR series frequency converter. These controllers provide additional protection against dry running. We recommend consulting our technical department when selecting the appropriate configuration.
Is the WZI 250 hydrobooster 24 set covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
Where can I buy the WZI 250 hydrobooster 24 set?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly. The set is available from our trading partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
