WQX 250 - submersible pump
submersible pump WQX by IBO is a series of devices with an aluminum structure, intended for pumping technically clean and slightly polluted water, without grinding elements. The power range from 250 W (WQX 250) to 1100 W (WQX 1100) allows you to choose the model according to the lifting height and performance needed in a given installation. The float switch automatically controls the pump and protects the engine against starting without water.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – the power range from 250 W to 1100 W allows you to choose a model depending on the scale of flooding or the efficiency needed to power the pond.
-
Installation and service companies – the float switch automates the operation of the pump and protects it against dry running without additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – the pump collects rain and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers for irrigation or supplying reservoirs.
-
Wholesale and technical stores – aluminum construction ensures low weight of the device while maintaining high pumping pressure.
Application
The WQX series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping technically clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. Pumps are used to pump rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, as well as to supply ponds. They are also used to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages and premises. Pumps are not water treatment devices - when using them for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C. submersible pump The WQX 230 V produces high water pressure, making it suitable for pumping to greater heights than simpler dewatering pumps.
Features of the WQX series
WQX series pumps are made of aluminum - both the motor housing and the impeller - which ensures low weight of the device while maintaining high durability. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical stuffing box works in a SiC/graphite/NBR system.
The float switch automatically controls the pump operation depending on the water level, providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overheating.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump WQX
What type of water is the WQX pump intended for?
The WQX series pumps are designed for technically clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The permissible size of solid impurities is 3 mm.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
Protection is provided by a built-in float switch that shuts off Power supply engine when the water level drops below a safe minimum. Additionally, thermal protection in the winding protects the motor against overheating.
What is the difference between the WQX pump and the IP series?
The WQX pump has an aluminum construction and achieves higher delivery heads, up to 35 m on the WQX 750 and WQX 1100 models, while the IP series with a technopolymer housing is designed for lower pressures and typical dewatering. WQX is suitable for pumping water over longer distances or heights, for example when feeding a pond located higher than the reservoir.
How to choose the WQX pump model for your needs?
The choice of model depends on the required lifting height and efficiency - the series includes variants from 250 W (WQX 250) to 1100 W (WQX 1100), selected according to the scale of flooding or the distance over which the water must be pumped. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can you buy the WQX submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. WQX series pumps are available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the WQX pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
