IBO WQX 1100 (1.1 kW, 230 V) submersible pump with float switch
IBO WQX 1100 (1.1 kW, 230 V) submersible pump with float switch is the strongest and most efficient solution in the series, designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water, free from grinding elements (e.g. sand). The aluminum construction combines durability with relatively low weight for a device with such high operating parameters. The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump and effectively protects it against dry running. This model is perfect for quickly draining rain and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, feeding large ponds, as well as for professional drainage of flooded rooms, houses, garages and premises.
For whom (B2B)
-
Installation companies: A reliable and powerful unit for the installation of advanced drainage systems in large residential, warehouse and public buildings.
-
Emergency and renovation services: Instant pumping of water from flooded rooms, garages and basements - the highest efficiency in the series (250 l/min) guarantees the shortest intervention time.
-
Horticultural and landscape industry: Power supply extensive ponds, cascades and drainage of large volumes of water from ponds and irrigation systems.
-
Wholesalers and distributors: Expansion of the portfolio with the flagship, most powerful model of the WQX series for professional customers and demanding semi-professional users.
Application
The IBO WQX 1100 pump has been designed for the toughest tasks requiring uncompromising performance and high pressure when pumping clean and slightly contaminated water. As in the other models in this series, the key operational requirement is the lack of grinding elements (e.g. sand) in the pumped liquid, which guarantees full efficiency and long life of key components.
In the B2B sector, the pump is the focal point of efficient drainage systems in commercial and industrial facilities. The built-in float switch fully automates the operation - it turns the device on when the water level rises and turns it off when it drops, eliminating the risk of damage resulting from dry operation. The advanced, multi-channel closed impeller combined with a 1.1 kW motor ensures an impressive flow of up to 250 liters per minute and a maximum water column lift of up to 35 meters.
The WQX 1100 model is irreplaceable when servicing large water facilities and in sudden hydraulic failures. Bigger Connection pressure (1½ inch) allows for free and fast flow of huge masses of water. Corrosion-resistant aluminum housing, stainless steel shaft and professional SiC/graphite/NBR mechanical seal adapt the device to intensive operation in difficult conditions. The whole is complemented by a factory 10-meter cable with a plug, ensuring convenient installation.

FAQ – IBO WQX 1100
Where can you buy this model?
Where can you buy this model?
+
IBO WQX 1100 (1.1 kW, 230 V) submersible pump with float switch is available at specialized hydrotechnical sales points and wholesalers cooperating with the IBO brand.
How does WQX 1100 differ from WQX 750?
How does WQX 1100 differ from WQX 750?
+
The WQX 1100 model is the most powerful variant in the series. It provides much higher efficiency (up to 250 l/min compared to 150 l/min in the 750 model), has greater engine power (1100 W) and is equipped with wider Connection pressure (1½ inches), which allows it to evacuate the largest amounts of water.
How does the float switch in this device work?
How does the float switch in this device work?
+
Built-in Float automatically controls the pump operation depending on the water level. With the water table rising Float rises and turns on the device. Once reduced to the minimum acceptable level Float turns off the pump, which effectively protects the engine against failures caused by dry running.
