Applications
The WQV series of submersible grinder pumps is designed for pumping
wastewater and dirty water free of abrasive particles such as sand. The pumps
are used to pump wastewater from household septic tanks and drain flooded rooms,
homes and garages, and are also used in domestic wastewater pumping stations.
The cutting blade shreds solid contaminants in wastewater before it is pumped,
reducing the risk of clogging the hose or pipeline. The devices operate in a vertical position,
at a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of 35°C and a motor speed of
3000 rpm, higher than in typical submersible pumps.
Features of the WQV series
WQV series pumps feature a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which means
so it does not corrode in constant contact with wastewater. The impeller housing is made of cast iron
gray, the impeller is made of steel, and the cutting blade and shaft are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
The overcurrent circuit breaker mounted directly on the power cable cuts off the power supply
protects the motor if the cutting blade becomes blocked by a hard object,
