WQF 750 – submersible sewage pump with float switch
The IBO WQF series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water without abrasive particles such as sand. The power range from 180 W (WQF 180) to 1100 W (WQF 1100) makes it possible to select a model suited to the size of a household septic tank or the scale of flooding, depending on your needs. The float switch automatically controls pump operation and protects the motor from running without water.
Who it is for
-
Homeowners and property owners – the power range from 180 W to 1100 W makes it possible to select a model suited to the size of a household septic tank or the scale of flooded rooms.
-
Installation and service companies – the float switch automates pump operation and protects it against dry running without additional control equipment.
-
Farms and livestock operations – the pump draws rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, while the more powerful models can also handle pumping sewage from septic tanks.
-
Wholesalers and technical stores – the wide power range within one series makes it possible to offer a model suited to installations of different scales.
Applications
The WQF series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water without abrasive particles such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from household septic tanks and to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages, and commercial premises.
They are also used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as for supplying garden ponds. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of 35°C. The WQF 230 V submersible pump tolerates larger solid contaminants than pumps designed exclusively for clean water.
Features of the WQF series
WQF series pumps feature a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the impeller housing and impeller are made of gray cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical seal uses a SiC/graphite/NBR arrangement.
The float switch automatically controls pump operation according to the water level, while also providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating, and the threaded discharge outlet enables hose connection using a hose clamp or quick coupling.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – WQF submersible pump
What type of sewage is the WQF pump designed for?
WQF series pumps are designed for sewage and dirty water without abrasive particles such as sand. Depending on the model, the clearance beneath the impeller is 20 or 35 mm, allowing them to tolerate larger solid contaminants than pumps designed for clean water.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
Protection is provided by the built-in float switch, which cuts power to the motor when the water level falls below the safe minimum. In addition, thermal protection in the winding protects the motor from overheating.
How does the WQF pump differ from the WQX series?
The WQF pump is designed for sewage and dirty water, with an impeller housing and impeller made of gray cast iron and clearance beneath the impeller of up to 35 mm, depending on the model. The WQX series has an aluminum construction and is designed exclusively for clean and slightly contaminated water without abrasive particles.
How do I choose the right WQF pump model for my needs?
The choice of model depends on the required head and capacity – the series includes variants from 180 W (WQF 180) to 1100 W (WQF 1100), selected according to the size of the septic tank or the scale of flooding. If in doubt, please contact the technical department.
Where can I buy a WQF submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. WQF series pumps are available from trade partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
What warranty terms apply to the WQF pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer’s warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
