Applications
The WQF series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water without abrasive elements such as sand. The pumps are used for pumping sewage from domestic septic tanks and draining flooded rooms, houses, garages, and commercial premises.
They are also used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as for supplying garden ponds. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of 35°C. The WQF 230 V submersible pump tolerates larger solid contaminants than pumps designed exclusively for clean water.
WQF series features
WQF series pumps feature a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the impeller housing and impeller are made of gray cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical seal operates in a SiC/graphite/NBR configuration.
The float switch automatically controls pump operation according to the water level, also providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating, while the threaded discharge connection allows a hose to be connected using a hose clamp or quick coupling.
