Applications
The WQF series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water without abrasive particles such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from domestic septic tanks and to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages, and commercial premises.
They are also used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as for supplying ornamental ponds. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of 35°C. The WQF 230 V submersible pump tolerates larger solid contaminants than pumps intended exclusively for clean water.
Features of the WQF series
WQF series pumps feature a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the impeller housing and impeller are made of gray cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical seal uses a SiC/graphite/NBR configuration.
The float switch automatically controls pump operation according to the water level, also serving as basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating, while the threaded discharge outlet allows a hose to be connected using a hose clamp or quick coupling.
