WQF 180 - submersible pump with float switch for sewage
The WQF series of submersible pumps by IBO are devices designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The power range from 180 W (WQF 180) to 1100 W (WQF 1100) allows you to select a model depending on the size of your home septic tank or the scale of flooding, depending on your needs. The float switch automatically controls the pump and protects the engine against starting without water.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – the power range from 180 W to 1100 W allows you to select a model depending on the size of your home septic tank or the scale of room flooding.
-
Installation and service companies – the float switch automates the pump's operation and protects it against dry running without additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – the pump collects rain and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, and higher models can also pump sewage from septic tanks.
-
Wholesale and technical stores – a wide range of power in one series allows us to offer a model adapted to various scales of installations.
Application
The WQF series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from home septic tanks and to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages and premises.
They are also used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, and for feeding ponds. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C. submersible pump WQF 230 V tolerates larger solid impurities than pumps intended only for clean water.
Features of the WQF series
WQF series pumps are made with a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the impeller housing and the impeller itself are made of gray cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical stuffing box works in a SiC/graphite/NBR system.
The float switch automatically controls the pump operation depending on the water level, providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overheating, and the threaded discharge port allows you to connect the hose using a clamp or quick connector.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump WQF
What type of sewage is the WQF pump intended for?
WQF series pumps are designed for sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. Depending on the model, the passage under the impeller is 20 or 35 mm, which allows it to tolerate larger solid impurities than in clean water pumps.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
Protection is provided by a built-in float switch that shuts off Power supply engine when the water level drops below a safe minimum. Additionally, thermal protection in the winding protects the motor against overheating.
What is the difference between the WQF pump and the WQX series?
The WQF pump is designed for sewage and dirty water, with an impeller housing and impeller made of gray cast iron and a passage under the impeller up to 35 mm, depending on the model. The WQX series has an aluminum structure and is intended only for clean and slightly polluted water, without grinding elements.
How to choose a WQF pump model for your needs?
The choice of model depends on the required lifting height and efficiency - the series includes variants from 180 W (WQF 180) to 1100 W (WQF 1100), selected according to the size of the septic tank or the scale of flooding. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can you buy a WQF submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. WQF series pumps are available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the WQF pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
