For whom (B2B)
-
Water, sewage and sanitation companies: a durable Vortex impeller with a bore of up to 35 mm allows for trouble-free pumping of thick sewage from septic tanks and cooperation with local pumping stations.
-
Construction and installation companies: efficiency of 300 l/min guarantees quick and effective drainage of flooded excavations, basements and garages.
-
Wholesale and technical stores: A proven, cast-iron and steel structure with a factory-made 10 m cable enriches the stock offer in the category of heavy sewage pumps for professional and home use.
Application
The IBO WQ PROFESSIONAL 550 pump is used to pump sewage from home septic tanks and to work in sewage pumping station systems. The device is commonly used for emergency drainage of flooded rooms, houses and commercial premises.
The design is also suitable for distributing rainwater and pumping surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, as well as for feeding larger ponds. The condition for failure-free operation is to pump a medium that does not contain elements with grinding properties, such as sand.
Features, description and technical data
Key hydraulic elements, including the impeller housing and the impeller itself (Vortex type), were cast from gray cast iron resistant to mechanical damage. The motor housing, shaft and rotor are made of high-quality AISI 304 stainless steel, which protects the system against aggressive sewage environments. The tightness of the mechanism is ensured by a gland made of ceramics, graphite and NBR.
The built-in float switch is responsible for automatic operation, which also protects the equipment against dry running. The single-phase drive designed for continuous operation has thermal protection integrated directly in the motor winding. The pump is equipped with a threaded discharge port to facilitate quick connection of hoses.

The cast iron Vortex impeller used allows free pumping of dirty water and sewage in which the size of soft solid impurities reaches up to 35 mm.
Will the device be able to drain water and sand?
Will the device be able to drain water and sand?
+
NO. The design of the pump categorically excludes contact with grinding elements. Pumping water containing sand may quickly wear out the working elements and damage the mechanical seal.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
