Applications
The WQ PROFESSIONAL series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water free from abrasive elements such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from domestic septic tanks and treatment plants, as well as to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages, and commercial premises. They are also successfully used in sewage pumping stations.
They are also suitable for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as for supplying water features. The units operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of 35°C. The WQ PROFESSIONAL 230 V submersible pump is available in a wide range of power ratings, from domestic models to variants for municipal applications.

WQ PROFESSIONAL series pumps feature an AISI 304 stainless steel motor housing, while the impeller housing and impeller are made of gray cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the mechanical seal operates in a SiC/graphite/NBR configuration.
The float switch automatically controls pump operation according to the water level and also provides basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating, while the threaded discharge connection allows a hose to be connected using a hose clamp or quick coupling.
