Application
The wellhead with a male thread is used to close the casing pipes of deep wells in which a pump suspended on a rope operates. The discharge pipe is connected to the threaded connection on the wellhead, while the power cable passes through the cable gland – the entire assembly remains sealed thanks to the compressed gasket. A well closed in this way is protected against surface water, groundwater, and foreign objects.

Features of the wellhead with a male thread
The wellhead is made of metal – galvanized steel or cast iron – resistant to the conditions inside the well. The discharge outlet is a male thread to which the pipe or installation connector is screwed. The gasket is compressed against the casing pipe, sealing the well.
The power cable supplying the pump is fed through a cable gland, ensuring tightness at the cable passage as well.
