The galvanized well head with external thread by IBO is a metal cover that hermetically closes the casing pipe of the deep well, leading the pump discharge pipe out through dedicated threaded Connection. The discharge pipe is screwed to the thread on the head, and the power cable is led through a separate gland. The seal on the casing pipe protects the well against surface water and contamination.

Application
The head with external thread is used to close the casing pipes of deep wells in which a pump suspended on a cable operates. The discharge pipe is connected to the threaded head connection, and the power cable passes through the gland - the whole thing remains tight thanks to a pressed gasket. The well closed in this way is protected against surface water, groundwater and foreign bodies.
Threaded outlet is used where the discharge pipe is led to the head through a connector or fitting with internal thread. The choice of variant depends on the diameter of the casing pipe and the thread size. The well head with external thread is available in versions adapted to 110 and 125 mm casing pipes.
Features of a well head with external thread
The head is made of metal - steel or galvanized cast iron - resistant to the conditions in the well. The discharge outlet is an external thread to which a pipe or installation connector is screwed. The seal is pressed onto the casing pipe, closing the well.
The pump power cable is led through a cable gland, which also ensures tightness at the cable entry point. The pump is suspended using a metal eye to which the carrying rope is attached. The variant is selected according to the diameter of the casing pipe and the size of the connection thread.
