W15 IH-10 - automatic pressure booster pump
The W15 IH-10 booster pump by IBO automatically increases the pressure and water flow where the water supply network cannot cope - just turn on the tap and the pump will start itself and deliver a stronger water stream, ready to work even with hot water up to 100°C.
For whom
- Residents of upper floors in blocks of flats - solve the problem of low pressure and insufficient water flow at the end sections of the installation.
- Home owners with gas water heaters eliminate the problem of re-igniting the heater resulting from too low water pressure in the network.
- Service technicians of small industrial equipment - welding machines, injection molding machines or food machines that require a small but stable water supply - gain a reliable source of power.
- Aquarium enthusiasts use a pump to aerate and circulate water in the aquarium.
Application
The W15 IH-10 pump works primarily where low pressure in the water supply network makes normal use of the installation difficult - it increases the pressure in gas heaters and water supply installations, and regardless of pressure fluctuations in the network, it allows it to be kept at a constant level. It is also used in multi-story installations where the water flow on the upper floors may be insufficient.
In addition to typical pressure support in buildings, the pump can work as a circulator for selected industrial devices - argon welders, laser cameras, injection molding machines or food machines - as well as aerate and force water circulation in aquariums. The W15 IH-10 230 V automatic booster pump, thanks to its tolerance for water temperatures up to 100°C, can also be used to power small boilers.
Features
The built-in automatic flow switch, mounted on the discharge side of the pump, turns on the device when you open the tap and turns it off when the flow stops - there is no need to manually turn on the pump every time you use water. It operates at a minimum pressure of 0.02 bar at the inlet, and an additional mode switch (automatic / manual / stop) allows you to force continuous operation where automation is not needed, e.g. when powering industrial equipment.
Brass hydraulic elements ensure corrosion resistance and long pump life, and the noise level of 85 dB allows it to be installed also in residential rooms. Tolerance for water temperatures up to 100°C distinguishes the W15 IH-10 from cold water-only versions - however, the pump must be mounted in a vertical position, never upside down or tilted, to avoid water entering the motor.

Frequently asked questions
What is the W15 IH-10 pump used for?
W15 IH-10 automatically increases the pressure and water flow in water supply installations, gas heaters and multi-story installations, and can additionally work as a water circulator for selected industrial and aquarium equipment.
How is W15IH different from W15IC in this series of pumps?
The IH marking indicates a version adapted for hot water - W15 IH-10 tolerates temperatures up to 100°C, while W15IC is a version intended only for cold water. It is worth choosing W15IH wherever hot water may appear in the installation, e.g. near water heaters.
Will the W15 IH-10 pump work in my installation with a gas heater?
Yes, this is one of the basic applications of this pump - it solves the problem of too low water pressure preventing the heater from starting properly. The pump is installed before the heater, never on its outlet side.
How does the automatic flow switch in the W15 IH-10 pump work?
The switch mounted on the discharge side detects the moment the tap is opened and automatically starts the pump, and when it is closed, turns it off. It operates at a minimum inlet pressure of 0.02 bar or when the water level is at least 0.2 m above the pump.
Where can I buy the W15 IH-10 pump?
The pump is available from our trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty applies to the W15 IH-10 pump?
The IBO brand pump is covered by a 24-month manufacturer's warranty, and warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
