Applications
The W15 IH-10 pump is primarily suitable wherever low pressure in the water supply network makes normal use of the installation difficult—it increases pressure in gas water heaters and water supply systems and, regardless of fluctuations in network pressure, helps maintain it at a constant level. It is also used in multi-story installations, where water flow on the upper floors may be insufficient.
In addition to typical pressure boosting in buildings, the pump can operate as a circulator for selected industrial equipment—argon welders, laser devices, injection molding machines, or food-processing machines—and can also aerate and force water circulation in aquariums. Features
The built-in automatic flow switch, installed on the pump's discharge side, starts the device when the tap is opened and switches it off when the flow stops—there is no need to turn the pump on manually every time water is used. It operates at a minimum inlet pressure of just 0.02 bar, while an additional mode switch (automatic / manual / stop) allows continuous operation to be forced wherever automation is not needed, for example when supplying industrial equipment.
Brass hydraulic components ensure corrosion resistance and a long pump service life, while the noise level of 85 dB also allows it to be installed in residential rooms. Tolerance of water temperatures up to 100°C distinguishes the W15 IH-10 from versions intended exclusively for cold water; however, the pump must be installed in a vertical position, never upside down or tilted, to prevent water from entering the motor.
