The V 2-pole series is designed for pumping wastewater containing suspended solids. Thanks to their high efficiency, these pumps are used in various areas, such as municipal sewage systems, industrial sewage systems, agriculture, and wastewater treatment plants.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of the V2 wastewater pump
The VT 2-pole wastewater pump is a professional product for municipal and industrial sewage systems, as well as special pumping stations. Thanks to the large space beneath the Vortex impeller, it can easily pump raw wastewater containing solid and fibrous particles. Small stones, gravel, and waste are not a problem either. The multi-blade Vortex impeller is resistant to clogging by wipes, strings, and kitchen waste. By creating a water vortex beneath and around the impeller, a significant proportion of solids does not come into direct contact with the impeller, meaning that it wears more slowly than channel impellers. The advantage of the radially expanding channels is that solid particles entering through the inlet do not become blocked in the impeller channels, but are expelled outward and move along the pump housing wall toward the throat.
Control
The V2 wastewater pump is essentially a three-phase model, but model 65/2/152 C.346 is also available in a 230V version. The pumps are controlled exclusively by an external signal. For controlling V2 pumps, we recommend the simple M121 controllers M121 (230V) or M131 (400V <=7,5kW). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor control. SMS notifications and internet monitoring are also available.
Installation
The most common installation method for the V2 raw wastewater pump is mounting it on a DUTY coupling foot or a type B coupling foot. Horizontal coupling feet of type A and mobile installations on a type P stand are used less frequently. A stainless-steel chain or stainless-steel cable of suitable strength is used to lower the pump along the guide rails into the pumping station tank; these are attached to the holes in the bracket on top of the pump. The manufacturer offers a special stainless-steel bracket as an accessory, ensuring that the pump remains properly balanced during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump. Otherwise, cavitation may occur, resulting in faster wear of the hydraulic components.
Features
• Vortex impeller with free passage,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor against flooding if the mechanical seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• Side flanged outlet enables installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose with a hose clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to a suitable control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be made to order (not for continuous operation).
