The V 2-pole series is designed for pumping wastewater containing suspended solids. Thanks to their high efficiency, these pumps are used in various areas, such as municipal sewage systems, industrial sewage systems, agriculture, and wastewater treatment plants.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of the V2 wastewater pump
The VT two-pole wastewater pump is a professional product for use in municipal and industrial sewage systems, as well as in special pumping stations. Thanks to the large space beneath the Vortex impeller, it can easily pump raw wastewater containing solid and fibrous particles; even small stones, gravel, or debris do not pose a problem. The multi-vane Vortex impeller is resistant to clogging by wipes, strings, or kitchen waste. By creating a water vortex beneath and around the impeller, a significant portion of the solids does not come into direct contact with the impeller, which means that the impeller wears more slowly than channel impellers. The advantage of the radially expanding channels is that solid particles entering through the inlet do not become lodged in the impeller channels; instead, they are expelled outward and travel along the pump casing wall to the volute.
Control
The V2 wastewater pump is essentially a three-phase model, but model 65/2/152 C.346 is also available in a 230V version. However, the pumps are controlled exclusively by an external signal. To control V2 pumps, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V <=7,5kW) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based control. SMS notifications and internet monitoring are also available.
Installation
The most commonly used installation method for the V2 raw wastewater pump is mounting on a DUTY coupling foot or a type B coupling elbow. Horizontal coupling feet of type A or mobile stand-mounted installations of type P are used less frequently. To lower the pump into the pumping station tank along guide rails, slings made of stainless-steel chain or stainless-steel rope with suitable strength are used; these are attached to the holes in the bracket at the top of the pump. The manufacturer offers a special stainless-steel bracket as an accessory, allowing the pump to remain properly balanced while being lowered. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump; otherwise, cavitation may occur, leading to accelerated wear of the hydraulic components.
Features
• Free-passage Vortex impeller,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor from flooding with water if the mechanical seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• Side flanged outlet enables mounting on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose with a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to a suitable control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with free leads,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be manufactured to order (not for continuous operation).
