The V two-pole series is designed for pumping wastewater containing suspended solids. Thanks to their high efficiency, these pumps are used in various areas, such as municipal sewer systems, industrial sewer systems, agriculture, and wastewater treatment plants.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of the V2 wastewater pump
The VT two-pole wastewater pump is a professional product for use in municipal and industrial sewer systems, as well as in special pumping stations. Thanks to the large clearance beneath the Vortex impeller, it can easily pump raw wastewater containing solid and fibrous matter; small stones, gravel, and waste are also not a problem. The multi-blade Vortex impeller is resistant to clogging by wipes, strings, and kitchen waste. By creating a water vortex beneath and around the impeller, a significant proportion of solids does not come into direct contact with the impeller, so it wears more slowly than channel impellers. The advantage of the radially expanding channels is that solids entering through the inlet do not become blocked in the impeller channels; instead, they are expelled outward and travel along the pump casing wall to the throat.
Control
The V2 wastewater pump is essentially a three-phase model, but model 65/2/152 C.346 is also available in a 230V version. The pumps are controlled exclusively by an external signal. For controlling V2 pumps, we recommend the simple M121 controllers M121 (230V) or M131 (400V <=7,5kW). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor control. SMS notifications and internet monitoring are also available.
Installation
The most common installation method for the V2 raw wastewater pump is mounting it on a DUTY coupling foot or a type B coupling foot. Horizontal coupling feet of type A or mobile installations on a type P stand are used less frequently. To lower the pump into the pumping station tank along guide rails, lifting gear in the form of a stainless-steel chain or stainless-steel cable of appropriate strength is used; it is attached to the holes in the handle at the top of the pump. The manufacturer offers a special stainless-steel handle as an accessory, allowing the pump to remain properly balanced during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump; otherwise, cavitation cavitation may occur, resulting in faster wear of the hydraulic components.
Features
• Vortex impeller with free passage,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor against water ingress if the mechanical seal behind the impeller fails,
• Side flanged outlet enables mounting on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to a suitable control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with free leads,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be made to order (not for continuous operation).
