Vertical Coupling SP-S for installation with heating devices is designed to balance the operation of systems and equalize the pressure between them. Installed between the heat source and the system circuits, it allows independent operation of the circuits and optimizes the operation of circulation pumps.
The coupling complements the IBO brand offer IBO for distributors and pumping groups IBO GP PRO. It is equipped with an automatic air vent and a drain valve for the separation of air and impurities. The installed thermometer and pressure gauge allow monitoring of the temperature and pressure in the system.
Available versions:

SP-S GWs 1" 50 kW 1:1 – vertical coupling equipped with movable nuts with internal 1-inch threads for sealing via a gasket. Allows connection of one supply source and one circuit for heat consumption.

SP-S GZ 1" 50 kW 1:1 – vertical coupling equipped with connections with 1-inch external threads. With the possibility of connecting one power source and one circuit for heat reception.
Application
The use of the SP-S coupling is recommended when there is a need for:
- Balancing the installation in systems when some consumers are turned off.
- Separating the heat source circuits from the consumer. Note: The coupling does not separate the systems in terms of pressure like a heat exchanger.
- Balancing the operation of pumps in heating systems.
- Balancing the operation of underfloor heating powered by gas boilers.
