SP-S vertical hydraulic separator for installation with heating appliances is designed to balance system operation and equalize pressure between them. Installed between the heat source and the system circuits, it enables the independent operation of the circuits and optimizes the operation of circulation pumps.
The separator complements IBO's range of manifolds and IBO GP PRO pump groups. It is equipped with an automatic air vent and a drain valve for separating air and impurities. The installed thermometer and pressure gauge allow the temperature and pressure in the system to be monitored.
Available versions:
-
SP-S GWs 1" 50 KW 1:1 – a vertical separator equipped with movable nuts with 1-inch female threads, sealed with a gasket. Allows the connection of one supply source and one heat-receiving circuit.
-
SP-S GZ 1" 50 KW 1:1 – a vertical separator equipped with connections featuring 1-inch male threads. Allows the connection of one supply source and one heat-receiving circuit.
Application
The use of the SP-S separator is recommended when there is a need to:
- Balance the system when some heat consumers are switched off.
- Separate the heat-source circuits from the heat-consumer circuits. Note: the separator does not separate the circuits in terms of pressure in the manner of a heat exchanger.
- Balance pump operation in heating systems.
- Balance the operation of underfloor heating supplied by gas boilers.
