V 2200 - submersible pump with shredder
submersible pump V by IBO with a cutting knife is a series of devices designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The AISI 304 stainless steel motor housing and high pump efficiency distinguish this series among grinder pumps. The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump, and the overcurrent switch mounted on the power cable protects the motor in the event of a blocked cutting knife.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – the cutting knife crushes impurities contained in the sewage, reducing the risk of clogging when draining the septic tank.
-
Installation and service companies – built-in float switch automates pump operation without additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – the pump collects rain and surface water, and the cutting knife deals with organic contaminants.
-
Municipal utilities with high demand – high efficiency of the series and a power range from 370 W to 2200 W allow you to select the model to suit the scale of the installation.
Application
The V series of submersible pumps with a grinder is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from home septic tanks and drain flooded rooms, houses and garages, and are also used in home sewage pumping stations.
The cutting knife crushes solid impurities contained in the sewage before pumping it, reducing the risk of clogging the hose or pipeline. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C.
Features of the V series
V series pumps are made with an AISI 304 stainless steel motor housing, so it does not corrode in constant contact with sewage. The rotor housing and the rotor itself are made of gray cast iron, the cutting knife is made of gray cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel, and the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
A circuit breaker mounted directly on the power cable cuts off Power supply motor if the cutting blade is blocked by a hard object, protecting the motor against overload regardless of the thermal protection in the winding. The float switch automatically controls the pump operation and provides basic protection against dry running.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump V with chopper
What contaminants does the V pump crush?
The cutting knife crushes solid and fibrous impurities contained in sewage, reducing the risk of clogging the hose or pipeline. The pump is not intended for water with sand or other grinding elements.
What is the purpose of the circuit breaker on the power cable?
The circuit breaker cuts off Power supply motor when the cutting knife is blocked by a hard object, protecting the motor from overload regardless of the thermal protection built into the winding.
What is the difference between the V series and the CTR series?
The V series has an AISI 304 stainless steel motor housing, while the CTR also uses gray cast iron for its motor housing. The V series also offers higher efficiency compared to CTR models of similar power.
How to choose a V pump model for your needs?
The choice of model depends on the required lifting height and efficiency - the series includes variants from 370 W (V 370) to 2200 W (V 2200), selected according to the size of the septic tank or the scale of the installation. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can you buy a V submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. V series pumps are available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the V pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
