Applications
The V series of submersible pumps with a macerator is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water free of abrasive elements such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from household septic tanks and to drain flooded rooms, homes, and garages; they are also suitable for household sewage pumping stations.
The cutting knife macerates solid contaminants contained in the sewage before it is pumped, reducing the risk of blockages in the hose or pipeline. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of up to 35°C.
Features of the V series
V series pumps feature an AISI 304 stainless steel motor housing, which prevents corrosion during constant contact with sewage. The impeller housing and impeller are made of gray cast iron, the cutting knife is made of gray cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel, and the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
The overcurrent circuit breaker mounted directly on the power cable disconnects the motor's power supply if the cutting knife is blocked by a hard object, protecting the motor against overload independently of the thermal protection in the winding. The float switch automatically controls pump operation and provides basic protection against dry running.
