The SWQ 1500 PRO is a single-phase 1.5 kW submersible pump designed for rapidly removing large volumes of technically clean and slightly contaminated water. The SWQ PRO series is designed for emergency and flood conditions—the multichannel PPO polymer impeller allows a flow rate of up to 1400 l/min while passing soft solid particles up to 30 mm freely.

Applications
The SWQ 1500 PRO is designed for pumping technically clean and slightly contaminated water, including rainwater, surface water from ponds and rivers, as well as floodwater containing mineral suspensions and fine organic particles. The PPO polymer multichannel closed impeller allows particles up to 30 mm to pass through, meaning the pump can handle typical mechanical contaminants encountered during flooding without requiring preliminary filtration of the medium. The pump is not a water treatment device—when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The built-in float switch automatically stops the motor when the liquid level drops to the minimum, protecting the system against dry running. Thermal protection integrated into the motor winding provides additional protection during many-hour pumping cycles—it cuts off the power supply in the event of overheating and resumes operation once the motor has cooled down. Both protections operate independently, creating two-level motor protection.

What happens if the pump draws in a stone or a larger fragment?
The PPO polymer multi-channel impeller has a free passage of up to 30 mm, so small stones or pieces of branches will usually pass through the hydraulic system without causing it to seize.
How does the SWQ 1500 PRO differ from the standard SWQ 1500 / SWQ H 1500?
The SWQ 1500 PRO is designed for maximum volumetric capacity: 1,400 l/min at a head of 13.5 m, with a particle passage of up to 30 mm and a DN 80 / 3" connection. The standard SWQ H 1500 achieves a head of 38 m, but only 200 l/min and a 5 mm particle passage—it is a high-pressure pump for deep wells and irrigation. The SWQ 1500 PRO is intended for rapid, high-volume water removal with low hydraulic resistance.
Is the pump suitable for water containing sand and sludge?
The pump can handle water containing soft suspended matter and fine sludge—a 30 mm free passage is standard for flood pumps. Fine quartz sand has an abrasive effect on the mechanical seal (Ceramic/Graphite/NBR) and polymer impeller, so prolonged operation in heavily sand-laden water will shorten the seal’s service life. This is acceptable during one-off rescue operations with sand in the medium.
How long of a discharge pipeline can the SWQ 1500 PRO handle?
The specifications are given for zero resistance (open connection). The pump head is 13.5 m, which with a DN 80 pipe and a standard resistance coefficient corresponds approximately to 50–80 m of horizontal pipeline, depending on the hose diameter and the number of bends. For longer routes, the flow rate drops below 1,400 l/min—selecting the pipe cross-section according to the pump curve is recommended.
