IBO SWQ IVR 2200 submersible pump with 230 V inverter
SWQ IVR 2200 is professional submersible pump with a power of 2.2 kW with a built-in inverter, achieving a capacity of 1,500 l/min - the highest in the entire SWQ series. The inverter ensures a soft start and precise protection of the motor, while the aluminum housing and the pump body made of AISI 304 stainless steel translate into durability in intensive use in flood and emergency conditions.
For whom
-
Rescue and municipal services – 1,500 l/min is 90,000 liters per hour; soft start of the inverter eliminates hydraulic shocks during sudden start-up during flood protection operations.
-
Construction companies and earthworks contractors – inverter protection against dry running with automatic restart allows unattended operation when draining excavations with variable water levels.
-
Professional equipment rentals – electronic protections (dry run, overload, overvoltage, rotor lock) protect the device against damage even with less experienced users.
-
Maintenance departments (UR) – gray cast iron impeller and AISI 304 body are suitable for regular pumping of surface water in industrial and warehouse facilities.
Application
IBO SWQ IVR 2200 is designed for quick drainage of large volumes of clean and slightly polluted water - rainwater, surface water and flood water in emergency conditions. The gray cast iron impeller and the capacity of 1,500 l/min allow you to quickly empty a flooded garage, a flooded farm building or a large area after heavy rainfall - wherever reaction time is important.
The built-in inverter starts the engine with smoothly increasing revolutions, eliminating sudden hydraulic shocks typical of direct starts. When the medium disappears, the inverter stops the pump after 2 seconds and tries to restart it after 8 seconds - if the water does not return, another attempt is made after 10 minutes. Electronic protections include dry running, overload, overvoltage and rotor lock, operating independently and in parallel.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump IBO SWQ IVR 2200
What does the inverter do in the pump?
The inverter is an electronic engine control system that starts the pump with smoothly increasing revolutions instead of a sudden start at full power. In practice, this means no water hammer in the pipeline at start-up, less load on the electrical installation and longer seal life. With a 2.2 kW pump, the difference in the starting impact is clearly noticeable - especially on long hose routes.
How does SWQ IVR 2200 differ from SWQ PRO 1500?
Model SWQ PRO 1500 is a classic flood pump without electronics - simple, reliable, with a 30 mm passage and a DN 80 connection. SWQ IVR 2200 is a model with an inverter: higher efficiency (1500 vs 1400 l/min), automatic restart after dry running and a full package of electronic protections. IVR is chosen where it is important to protect the device in changing operating conditions and lack of constant supervision.
Will the pump start by itself when the water returns?
Yes - when the medium disappears, the inverter stops the pump after 2 seconds and automatically tries to restart after 8 seconds. If the water does not return, another attempt is made after 10 minutes. The entire cycle takes place without user intervention, which allows for maintenance-free operation with variable water levels.
Can SWQ IVR 2200 be left unattended during a flood emergency?
Yes - this is one of the main advantages of this model. The inverter independently responds to dry running, overload and impeller blockage, stopping and restarting the pump without operator intervention. For a typical drainage operation, simply connect the hose, start the pump and return when the tank is empty.
