The SWQ HOT 750 is a stainless-steel submersible pump with a power rating of 0.75 kW, designed to operate with water temperatures of up to 80°C. The reinforced SIC-SIC seal and heat-resistant capacitor enable long-term operation in conditions that rule out standard models in the SWQ series – when draining hot process water, emptying boilers, and pumping water from hot springs.

Applications
The SWQ HOT 750 is designed for pumping technically clean and slightly contaminated water at temperatures of up to 60°C (up to 80°C for 3 minutes) – hot process water, water from heating systems, and natural thermal springs. The impeller made of AISI 304 stainless steel and PPO polymer, together with the SIC-SIC seal, provides greater resistance to abrasion and temperature than the standard Ceramic/Graphite seal used in the other models in the SWQ series. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring suitable water preparation.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, enabling operation without fully submerging the motor, even when the liquid temperature is high. The built-in float automatically stops the pump when the water level drops, while the heat-resistant capacitor ensures stable operation of the electrical system in elevated ambient temperatures. Thermal protection in the winding provides an additional, independent line of motor protection.

How does the SWQ HOT 750 differ from the standard SWQ 750?
The hydraulic parameters are identical – 0.75 kW, 220 l/min, 18 m head. The difference lies in the design: the SWQ HOT 750 has a reinforced SIC-SIC seal (instead of the standard SiC/Graphite/NBR seal), a heat-resistant capacitor, and materials adapted for operation with water up to 60°C (up to 80°C when operating for no longer than 3 minutes). The standard SWQ 750 is limited to 35°C – attempting to pump hot water will quickly damage the seal and the motor windings.
Is the SWQ HOT 750 suitable for draining a central-heating boiler?
Yes – this is one of the typical applications for this model. The 18 m head enables it to pump hot water from a boiler room to a drain or tank without waiting for the system to cool down. Condition: the water must not contain large pieces of boiler scale or other hard contaminants – the impeller passage is 5 mm.
Is the SIC-SIC seal better than the standard one?
In high-temperature conditions – yes. Silicon carbide on both sides of the mechanical seal (SIC-SIC) offers greater resistance to temperature and abrasion than the Ceramic/Graphite pair used in the other SWQ models. This results in a longer seal service life during regular operation with hot water. With cold water, the difference is less significant – the standard seal is fully adequate.
Can I use the SWQ HOT 750 for ordinary cold water?
Yes – the pump operates correctly across the full temperature range, from cold water up to 80°C. However, if you need a pump exclusively for cold water, the standard SWQ 750 will be a cheaper and equally effective solution. The SWQ HOT 750 is worthwhile where the medium temperature exceeds 35°C.
