The SWQ H 2200 is a 2.2 kW stainless steel submersible pump with a 66 m head—the highest pressure parameter in the SWQ H series. This model is intended to supply water systems requiring a high head: agricultural irrigation systems, domestic pressure-boosting systems, and long discharge lines where lower series models lose pressure before reaching the outlet. The pump transfers raw water that is only technically clean—it is not a water-treatment device, so if water from a private water intake is to be used for drinking, it must be appropriately treated and its quality monitored.

Applications
The SWQ H 2200 is designed for pumping technically clean raw water and slightly contaminated water—from ring wells, retention tanks, lakes, and rivers—wherever the medium must overcome a significant difference in elevation or travel through a very long pipeline. With a 2 mm impeller passage, this pump is designed for technically clean and slightly contaminated water.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the unit does not need to be fully submerged during operation. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the machine during prolonged pumping cycles. The stainless steel impeller is corrosion-resistant and lighter than its steel counterpart, which contributes to the durability of the hydraulic system during continuous operation with technically clean water.

How does the SWQ H 2200 differ from the SWQ H 1800 and SWQ H 1500?
These are three models from the same high-pressure series, differing in power and specifications: SWQ H 1500 (1.5 kW, 38 m, 200 l/min), SWQ H 1800 (1.8 kW, 53 m, 270 l/min), SWQ H 2200 (2.2 kW, 66 m, 170 l/min). The SWQ H 2200 achieves the highest lifting capacity in the series, making it the choice for the longest discharge runs and greatest height differences. However, note that at maximum pressure, the flow rate drops to 170 l/min.
The pump has no float switch – what protects the motor from dry running?
The only built-in protection is a thermal switch in the motor winding. This means that if the well runs out of water, the motor will continue running until it overheats – the thermal switch will turn it off, but this is a reaction to the consequence, not the cause. We strongly recommend connecting an external level sensor or pressure switch that will cut off the power before the motor has time to overheat.
My garage is flooded – is the SWQ H 2200 suitable for this?
Yes – its high lifting capacity is useful wherever water has to overcome significant resistance: a deep underground garage, a basement several metres below ground level, or a long hose run to a drainage well. For typical ground-floor flooding, the SWQ 1100 is sufficient – the SWQ H 2200 is the choice when a standard pump cannot push the water to the drain.
Can the SWQ H 2200 replace a deep-well pump in a drilled well?
For a large-diameter ring well – yes, provided the water level depth falls within the pump’s lifting parameters. For a narrow-diameter drilled well (4–6"), the SWQ H submersible pump with its 195 mm housing may not fit inside the pipe. In this case, a dedicated deep-well pump with a smaller housing diameter is the more suitable solution.
