IBO SWQ H 1800 submersible pump high pressure 230 V with float switch
SWQ H 1800 is stainless steel submersible pump with a power of 1.8 kW with a lifting distance of 53 m, combining high pressure with a capacity of 270 l/min. The model is dedicated to powering water installations requiring a high pressure column - agricultural irrigation, home hydrophore systems and long delivery routes - where SWQ H 1500 reaches its limits, and SWQ H 2200 offers more pressure at the expense of flow.
For whom
-
Agricultural and horticultural farms – lifting capacity of 53 m and efficiency of 270 l/min allow you to simultaneously power several irrigation sections without a pressure drop at the end of the installation.
-
Homeowners with a circular well – high pressure column ensures stability Power supply home installation even with a deeper water table and a long supply pipeline.
-
Renovation and construction teams – cooling jacket and built-in Float allow for drainage of deep excavations and flooded underground floors without the risk of engine overheating.
-
Installation companies – continuous and automatic operation mode Float eliminate the need for supervision during long-term drainage works in industrial and utility facilities.
Application
SWQ H 1800 is designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water - from ring wells, retention reservoirs, lakes and rivers - wherever the medium must overcome a significant difference in height or a long pipeline route. The impeller passage is 2 mm, which means tolerance only for water practically free of suspensions - sand and other mechanical impurities destroy the steel impeller and the Ceramic/Graphite/NBR seal.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the device does not require full immersion during operation. Built-in Float stops the pump automatically when the water level drops, protecting the engine against dry running. Thermal protection in the winding acts as an independent second line of protection during long-hour stamping cycles.
Features of the SWQ H 1800 pump
- Adaptation for pumping water with sand and sludge: NO – only clean water; rotor passage 2 mm
- Cooling Jacket: YES – operation is possible without fully immersing the engine
- Discharge port: 2" threaded, vertical direction
- Thermal protection: YES (built into the motor winding)
- Float switch: YES – built-in, protects against dry running
- Working mode: continuous

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump IBO SWQ H 1800
How is the SWQ H series different from regular SWQ models?
Standard SWQ (e.g. SWQ 750, SWQ 1100) are pumps for quick removal of large volumes of water with low resistance - lifting up to 18 m, capacity up to 235 l/min. The SWQ H series does the opposite: lower flow, but much higher pressure - SWQ H 1800 reaches 53 m of lifting. This is the choice wherever water has to overcome a large level difference or a long pipeline route: wells, irrigation, Power supply home installation.
I have a flooded underground garage - will SWQ H 1800 cope?
Yes - the 53 m lift allows you to push water even from a deep underground garage or basement several meters below ground level, where a standard pump loses pressure before reaching the drain. Built-in Float it will stop the pump automatically when the water level drops to a minimum.
How does SWQ H 1800 differ from SWQ H 1500 and SWQ H 2200?
SWQ H 1800 is the middle model of the series: SWQ H 1500 (1.5 kW, 38 m, 200 l/min), SWQ H 1800 (1.8 kW, 53 m, 270 l/min), SWQ H 2200 (2.2 kW, 66 m, 170 l/min). SWQ H 1800 offers the best balance between pressure and flow - more water per minute than SWQ H 2200 with only slightly lower head. This is the optimal choice for installations that require both range and performance.
The water in the well has subsided - won't the pump burn out?
Built-in Float turns off the pump automatically when the water level drops to a minimum. Thermal protection in the winding provides a second, independent protection. Both mechanisms work in parallel, so a short-term drop in the water table should not damage the device - the pump will stop and start again after the level is restored.
