SWQ H 1500 is stainless steel submersible pump with a power of 1.5 kW, designed to pump clean and slightly polluted water to great heights. The SWQ H series is created for applications requiring high pressure - a lifting capacity of 38 m allows you to power home installations from ring wells, irrigate extensive crops and serve long delivery routes where standard SWQ series models lose pressure.

Application
SWQ H 1500 is designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water - from ring wells, lakes, rivers and retention reservoirs - wherever the medium must overcome large height differences or long pipeline routes. The rotor passage is 5 mm, which allows for fine organic suspensions, but excludes work with sand and other mineral impurities - abrasive particles destroy the SiC/Graphite/NBR seal and the steel rotor.
The cooling jacket allows operation without fully immersing the engine - the device is cooled by the medium flowing in the space of the double housing. Built-in Float stops the pump automatically when the water level drops, protecting the system against dry running. Thermal protection in the winding acts as an independent second line of protection during long-hour stamping cycles.

How does SWQ H 1500 differ from the regular SWQ 1100?
SWQ 1100 is a pump for quickly discharging large volumes of water - 235 l/min with a lift of 14 m. SWQ H 1500 works the opposite: lower flow (200 l/min), but lifting up to 38 m. It is the choice wherever water has to overcome a great height or a long pipeline route - wells, irrigation, Power supply home installation. For typical basement drainage, SWQ 1100 will work better.
Will SWQ H 1500 replace a submersible pump in a ring well?
At a ring well – yes, as long as the water table is not too deep. Lifting 38 m allows you to power the home installation from a well several meters deep, with reserves for losses in the pipeline. The pump works submerged in the well, the cooling jacket allows it to operate even at low water levels. For wells drilled to a great depth, a dedicated submersible pump is a more appropriate solution.
The water in the well has subsided - won't the pump burn out?
Built-in Float turns off the pump automatically when the water level drops to a minimum. Thermal protection in the winding provides a second, independent protection. Both mechanisms work in parallel, so a short-term drop in the water table should not damage the device - the pump will stop and start again after the level is restored.
What can destroy a pump the fastest?
Dry running with a blocked float - the engine without medium cooling overheats quickly. The second threat is high contamination of the pumping water - sand and mineral suspensions abrading the stuffing box and the stainless steel impeller. The third factor is the temperature of the pumped water above 35°C, which shortens the life of the seals.
