The SWQ F 1500 is a submersible pump with a stainless-steel housing and a power rating of 1.5 kW, designed to pump very large volumes of water against low hydraulic resistance. Applications
The SWQ F 1500 is intended for pumping technically clean and slightly contaminated water—including rainwater, surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, and water from flooded flat areas. The impeller clearance is 5 mm, allowing small organic particles in suspension but ruling out operation with sand and mineral suspensions—abrasive particles damage the steel impeller and the Ceramic/Graphite/NBR seal. This model is designed for exceptionally high performance, with a capacity of 830 l/min, making it ideal for short, horizontal discharge routes. The pump is not a water-treatment device; when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring suitable pretreatment.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the unit does not require full immersion during operation. The built-in float automatically stops the pump when the water level drops, protecting the motor from running dry. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional, independent protection during prolonged pumping cycles.

How does the SWQ F 1500 differ from the regular SWQ 1500 and SWQ PRO 1500?
All three have a power rating of 1.5 kW, but each model is optimized for a different purpose. The SWQ F 1500 offers maximum flow – 830 l/min at a 10 m head, making it ideal for quickly emptying shallow flooded areas and large surfaces. The SWQ PRO 1500 is a flood pump with a 30 mm passage and DN 80 connection, designed for water containing larger contaminants. The standard SWQ H 1500 provides high pressure (38 m) at a lower flow rate, making it suitable for wells and irrigation. The letter F stands for Flow.
Is the SWQ F 1500 suitable for emptying a pond?
Yes – 830 l/min can empty a 50,000-liter pond in just over an hour. The condition is that the water must not contain sand or fine gravel, as the steel impeller and seal are sensitive to abrasive particles. Small algae, organic silt, and leaves that fit through the 5 mm passage are not a problem.
I need to pump out water after flooding – SWQ F 1500 or SWQ PRO 1500?
It depends on the nature of the water. If it is clean or contains only fine organic silt, the 15 kg SWQ F 1500 will be the more convenient choice. If floodwater contains sand, branches, and larger solid contaminants, the SWQ PRO 1500 with a 30 mm passage and DN 80 connection may be a better choice, although it is heavier (25 kg).
Will the pump work at a very shallow water level?
The cooling jacket allows the motor to operate without being fully submerged, so the pump can function at a relatively low water level. The built-in float switch will turn the device off when the level drops below the minimum, before dry running occurs.
