SWQ F 1500 is submersible pump with a stainless steel housing, 1.5 kW power, designed to pump very large volumes of water with low hydraulic resistance. Application
SWQ F 1500 is designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water - rainwater, surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, as well as water from flooded flat areas. The impeller passage is 5 mm, which allows fine organic suspensions, but excludes work with sand and mineral suspensions - abrasive particles destroy the steel rotor and the Ceramic/Graphite/NBR seal. The model is designed for extremely efficient operation - its ability to pump 830l/min of water is perfect for short, horizontal medium drainage routes.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the device does not require full immersion during operation. Built-in Float stops the pump automatically when the water level drops, protecting the engine against dry running. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional, independent protection during long pumping cycles.

How does SWQ F 1500 differ from the regular SWQ 1500 and SWQ PRO 1500?
All three have a power of 1.5 kW, but each model is optimized for a different purpose. SWQ F 1500 has a maximum flow of 830 l/min with a lifting distance of 10 m, ideal for quick emptying of shallow floodplains and large surfaces. SWQ PRO 1500 is a flood pump with a 30 mm passage and a DN 80 connection - for water with coarse impurities. The standard SWQ H 1500 is high pressure (38 m) with lower flow - for wells and irrigation. The letter F stands for Flow.
Is SWQ F 1500 suitable for emptying a pond?
Yes - 830 l/min allows you to empty a pond with a capacity of 50,000 liters in just over an hour. Condition: the water must not contain sand or fine gravel - the steel impeller and seal are sensitive to abrasive particles. Fine algae, organic silt and leaves that fit into the 5 mm passage are not a problem.
I need to pump out water after flooding - SWQ F 1500 or SWQ PRO 1500?
Depends on the nature of the water. If it is clean or contains only fine organic sludge, SWQ F 1500 with a weight of 15 kg will be a more convenient choice. If flood water contains sand, branches and larger solid pollutants - SWQ PRO 1500 with a 30 mm passage and a DN 80 connection may be a better choice, although heavier (25 kg).
Will the pump work at a very shallow water level?
The cooling jacket allows operation without the motor being fully submerged, so the pump can operate at relatively low water levels. Built-in Float will turn off the device when the level drops below the minimum, before it runs dry.
