The SWQ 750 is a stainless-steel submersible pump with a power rating of 0.75 kW, designed for pumping technically clean and slightly contaminated water. The SWQ series is designed for draining flooded rooms, pumping surface water, and supplying garden ponds—with fully automatic operation provided by the built-in float switch.

Applications
The SWQ 750 model is designed for pumping technically clean and slightly contaminated water—including rainwater, surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as water from flooded rooms and excavations. The permitted impeller passage is 5 mm, meaning the pump can tolerate small organic suspensions. The pump is not a water-treatment device; when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The cooling jacket surrounding the motor dissipates heat through the pumped medium, allowing the unit to operate without fully submerging the motor—until the water level reaches the minimum height required by the jacket. The built-in float switch automatically stops the motor if the liquid level continues to fall, eliminating the risk of dry running. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional protection during prolonged pumping cycles.

What is the best way to protect the pump from damage?
Above all, make sure it does not run dry – if the float fails or becomes mechanically blocked, the uncooled motor will overheat within a few minutes. The second factor to watch out for is sand and other mineral suspensions, which abrade the mechanical seal. The third risk is operation with water above 35°C – exceeding this limit shortens the service life of the seals.
Can the SWQ 750 be left unattended?
Yes – the built-in float automatically switches the pump off when the water level drops to the minimum and switches it on again when the level rises. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional protection against overheating. Both mechanisms operate independently, enabling unattended operation, for example when emptying a rainwater tank.
How does the SWQ 750 differ from the SWQ H 1500 in the same series?
The SWQ 750 is a lower-power model (0.75 kW) with a capacity of 220 l/min at a head of 18 m – suitable for drainage and pumping surface water. The SWQ H 1500 is a high-pressure version: 38 m head, 1.5 kW power, and a capacity of 200 l/min – designed to supply domestic installations from wells or over long discharge lines. If you need high pressure or a deep water source, the H model will be more suitable.
Can the pump handle floodwater containing sediment and leaves?
Fine organic sediment and leaves that fit through the 5 mm passage will not block the impeller. However, the pump is not designed to handle sand, gravel, or other mineral suspensions – these media damage the mechanical seal and stainless steel impeller, shortening the device’s service life. For pumping floodwater containing larger solid contaminants, the SWQ PRO 1500 model with a 30 mm passage is more suitable.
