SWQ 2200 is steel submersible pump with a power of 2.2 kW, equipped with an open cutting system, intended for pumping sewage and dirty water containing organic fractions. Compared to SWQ 1300, it offers a higher lifting capacity (18 m) while maintaining the same design of the cutting system - it is the choice for larger facilities, longer delivery routes and pumping stations requiring a larger pressure column.

Application
SWQ 2200 is intended for pumping domestic sewage, the contents of septic tanks and feeding home and company biological treatment plants. The open gray cast iron cutting system shreds soft organic fractions upstream of the impeller, eliminating the risk of pipeline clogging. The pump is not suitable for media containing sand, gravel or other mineral suspensions - they have an abrasive effect on the Ceramics/Graphite/NBR seal and the cutting system.
Built-in Float turns off the pump automatically when the liquid level drops, protecting the engine against dry running. The overcurrent switch on the power cable provides thermal-independent protection in the event of mechanical blockage of the cutting system - it reacts to a sudden increase in current consumption before the winding is damaged.

I need a septic tank pump – SWQ 1300 or SWQ 2200?
Both models have the same cutting system design and the same materials. SWQ 1300 (1.3 kW, 417 l/min, lifting 10 m) is sufficient for a typical home septic tank with a short delivery route. SWQ 2200 (2.2 kW, 333 l/min, lifting 18 m) is the choice for larger facilities, longer pipelines or higher receivers - where SWQ 1300 loses pressure before the end of the route.
Can I connect the pump directly to the sewage system?
Yes - a lifting distance of 18 m and a 2" connector allow for direct connection to the pressure pipeline leading to the sewage system. Condition: pipeline with a minimum diameter of DN 50 and a pressure route within the lifting parameters taking into account linear losses. If you have any doubts regarding the selection, it is worth consulting the Dambat technical department.
What does a shredder actually do?
The open cutting system shreds soft organic fractions before they reach the rotor. Not intended for hard solids or mineral materials.
Will the pump work with frequent switching on and off?
Too frequent starting cycles can shorten engine life due to electrical surges. In practice Float responds to the actual level of liquid in the tank, so in a typical sewage pumping station the number of cycles is natural and not a problem. If the tank is very small and the level changes quickly, you may want to consider a larger expansion tank.
