SK-30 – intelligent IBO pressure switch
SK-30 is an intelligent pressure switch from IBO that automatically controls the operation of the pump - it turns it on when water is consumed and turns it off after it is finished. It combines a pressure gauge and a non-return valve in one housing, and when first started, it independently adjusts to the installation and determines the operating pressure. It is a compact machine for maintenance-free pump control in a water installation.

Application
SK-30 works well in home and garden water installations powered by a water supply, well or tank. It is mounted on the discharge pipe, in a vertical position, just behind the pump. The machine independently controls the pressure and flow, turning on the pump when you open a tap or sprinkler and turning it off after the end of consumption.
The device works only with clean water, without sand or iron compounds that could damage it. For smoother operation, it is recommended to install a small expansion vessel, for example 5 liters. In a typical home installation, the intelligent SK-30 230 V pressure switch takes over the operation of the pump, starting it when you turn on the tap and stopping it when you close the water flow.
Features of SK-30
SK-30 responds to the pressure and water flow in the pipe on which it is mounted. When the pressure drops below the set value with the appearance of flow, the pump starts, and closing the intake stops it. When you turn it on for the first time, the machine adjusts to the installation and remembers the operating pressure, which can later be corrected using buttons in steps of 0.1–0.2 bar.
The operating status is indicated by clear LEDs: Power supply, pump operation and flow, and flashing - lack of water and too frequent activation. If there is no water, the switch disconnects the pump in approximately 10 seconds and tries again every hour, with the option of manually turning it on using the AUTO/RESET button. A built-in pressure gauge and check valve reduce the number of components in the pipeline, and over- and under-voltage protection protects the electronics.

Does SK-30 protect the pump against dry running?
Yes. If there is no water, the SK-30 turns off the pump in about 10 seconds and signals it with a flashing diode. The machine automatically tries to start again every hour, and the pump can also be turned on manually using the AUTO/RESET button.
Does SK-30 work with a hydrophore tank?
No - SK-30 does not work with hydrophore tanks. For smoother operation, it is recommended to install a small expansion vessel, for example 5 liters. The pump cooperating with the switch should generate a pressure of at least 2 bar at its input.
