The S-MCI 4-5 pump with a 50 l hydrophore tank is a set for the automatic intake and pumping of raw water in domestic applications before treatment. The IPRO line is designed for professional applications requiring increased reliability. The S-MCI 4-5 pump is constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel – the body, shaft, rotor, impellers and diffusers, as well as the intermediate wall, are made of this material, ensuring high corrosion resistance when working with technically clean water. The asynchronous motor, housed in an aluminium enclosure with external ventilation, ensures stable operation even under heavy load.
The SiC/SiC/EPDM mechanical seal – with both sliding rings made of silicon carbide – maintains shaft tightness for considerably longer than typical ceramic/graphite combinations, especially during prolonged continuous operation. The motor has built-in thermal protection in the winding, protecting the pump against overheating. In addition to the standard pump-and-tank set, it is also possible to configure the system with hydrophore controllers from the PC series (PC-10P, PC-13, PC-15, PC-16, PC-59), the SK series (SK15), as well as the Multi Press 2 electronic pressure switch. These controllers have additional dry-run protection.
