Description
RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM - submersible pump with automatic control
submersible pump RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM by IBO is a device designed with this in mind on work automation - an electronic control machine replaces the traditional one float switch, turning the pump on and off when the pressure in the installation drops, when the pressure reaches the set value again. Additional suction hose with float switch in the form of a ball, it draws water from the surface of the tank, reducing the risk of being sucked in contaminants from the bottom. This solution is particularly useful when working with tanks for rainwater.
For whom
- Users of rainwater collection systems – suction hose with float switch collects the cleanest water from the surface of the storage tank.
- House and plot owners – the automatic control maintains constant pressure in the installation without the need to install an additional float switch.
- Installation and service companies – built-in protection against leakage and dry running reduces the number of service interventions.
- Agricultural and horticultural farms – the machine correctly recognizes long-term, small water consumption during drip irrigation and does not treat it as a leak.
Application
submersible pump RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM handles water from its own intakes and water containing chlorine - clean or slightly contaminated, without sand or other impurities abrasives. The pump was designed to supply water to households, irrigation systems and rainwater collection systems. It will also work well when pumping water from flooded rooms.
The device operates in a vertical position, at an immersion depth of up to 6 m, at maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C. submersible pump RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM 230 V automatically maintains constant pressure in the installation, and the suction hose with float switch ensures water intake from the tank surface regardless of the sediment level at the bottom.
Features of the RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM pump
The RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM pump is equipped with an electronic control unit that replaces the traditional float switch. When the outlet valve is closed, the pump turns off turns on and goes into standby mode, and the pressure in the installation is then maintained by the integrated system non-return valve. When the valve is opened, the pump turns on automatically. Dedicated connector connection allows you to connect the suction hose with float switch in the form of a ball, thanks to which water is sucked in from the tank surface.
The control unit has built-in protection against dry running and protection against leakage. If the pump starts and stops more than 7 times in 2 minutes, it passes into safe mode - then you need to disconnect and reconnect Power supply, to resume work. With small, continuous water consumption, for example with drip irrigation, a warning the leakage alarm starts only after 60 minutes of such operation, so the pump does not stops unnecessarily. The cooling jacket allows the pump to operate without a full load immersion in water. Built-in air purge valve automatically removes air from the system.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM
What is the suction hose used for? float switch in the RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM pump?
Suction hose with float switch in the form of a ball, it draws water from the surface of the tank, limiting it risk of sucking in sediments and impurities lying at the bottom. This is the solution especially useful when working with rainwater tanks.
What happens when there is a leak in the installation?
In the event of a leak in the installation, the pump will start and stop in short bursts intervals. If the frequency exceeds 7 starts in 2 minutes, the pump enters emergency mode and requires disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply after removing the cause of the leak.
What is the difference between RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM and RAINER 1200 AUTO?
Both pumps have identical hydraulic and electrical parameters and the same automatic mechanism control. They differ in additional equipment - RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM has a suction hose z float switch in the form of a ball, thanks to which it sucks water from the surface of the tank, and not only directly from the pump environment like the basic version.
Which delivery hose should be used with the RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM pump?
For proper operation of the pump, a discharge hose with a minimum diameter of ¾" is recommended - too small diameter may cause incorrect operation of the machine and automatic switching on and turning off the pump. If you have any doubts about the selection, we encourage you to: contact the technical department.
Where can you buy the RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. The RAINER 1200 AUTO STORM pump is available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized distributors online.
