QBO 200 230 V submersible pump with float
The QBO 200 is a 1.5 kW stainless steel submersible pump made of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for pumping technically clean and lightly contaminated water – for applications not subject to drinking-water requirements, such as irrigation or supplying technical water outlets. The QBO series is designed for rainwater harvesting systems and tank installations – the QBO 200 is the most powerful model in the series, combining a capacity of 334 l/min with a head of 19 m, dedicated to extensive installations with multiple outlets or significant differences in elevation.
Who is it for?
-
Owners of large retention tanks – the capacity of 334 l/min and head of 19 m can supply an extensive irrigation system, laundry rooms, toilets and technical water outlets in the building simultaneously.
-
Farms and horticultural operations – the high capacity is suitable for supplying extensive sprinkler and irrigation systems across large cultivated areas.
-
Service and industrial facilities – continuous-duty operation enables long-term use in technical installations requiring a constant water supply.
-
Rainwater harvesting system installers – the 1.5 kW power rating and 1½" connection enable the system to handle installations where smaller QBO series models do not provide sufficient pressure over long pipeline runs.
Applications
The QBO 200 is designed for pumping technically clean and lightly contaminated water – rainwater from retention tanks, surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, as well as seawater, for irrigation and technical purposes, but not for drinking. The vortex impeller made of PPO polymer and AISI 304 stainless steel allows operation with water containing fine organic particles, typical of rainwater harvesting and surface water systems. The pump does not treat water – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water treatment.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the device does not need to be fully submerged during operation. The built-in float automatically switches off the pump when the water level drops, protecting the motor from running dry. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional, independent motor protection during prolonged pumping cycles.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – QBO 200 submersible pump
How does the QBO 200 differ from the QBO 100?
The QBO 100 model (0.75 kW, 275 l/min, 15 m) is suitable for several water outlets and medium-length discharge lines. The QBO 200 (1.5 kW, 334 l/min, 19 m) is the choice for more extensive installations – more water outlets, a longer pipeline, or a greater difference in elevation between the tank and the receiving point. If the QBO 100 loses pressure before the end of the line, the QBO 200 will handle the installation with reserve capacity.
Is the QBO 200 suitable for supplying a building with rainwater?
Yes – the capacity of 334 l/min and a head of 19 m allow it to supply toilets, a laundry room, and utility water outlets simultaneously in a typical residential or commercial building. The built-in float switch ensures automatic unattended operation, while the AISI 304 stainless steel construction guarantees durability during prolonged immersion in a storage tank.
Can the pump operate with seawater?
Yes – the AISI 304 stainless steel used in the housing, body, shaft, and impeller provides corrosion resistance when pumping seawater. This is one of the distinguishing features of the QBO series compared with standard submersible pumps made of cast iron or plastic.
Can the QBO 200 be left unattended while pumping?
Yes – the built-in float switch automatically turns the pump off when the water level drops and turns it on again when the level rises. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional, independent motor protection. Both mechanisms operate in parallel, enabling maintenance-free operation in typical tank installations.
Where can I buy the QBO 200 pump?
The pump is available from Dambat’s commercial partners, specialist installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors. Dambat does not sell directly.
Where can the pump be serviced after the warranty expires?
Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat, Adamów 50, Grodzisk Mazowiecki. IPRO – 36 months (3 years) of manufacturer’s warranty.
