QBO 100 230 V submersible pump with float
The QBO 100 is a 0.75 kW stainless steel submersible pump made of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for pumping technically clean and lightly contaminated water – for applications not subject to drinking-water requirements, such as irrigation or supplying technical water draw-off points. The QBO series is designed for rainwater collection systems and tank installations – the QBO 100 combines higher flow and head with a compact design, making it suitable for tanks with several draw-off points or longer discharge lines.
Who is it for
-
Rainwater tank owners – a flow rate of 275 l/min and a head of 15 m make it possible to supply several draw-off points in the garden or outbuilding simultaneously without a drop in pressure.
-
Farms and horticultural operations – the built-in float and S1 continuous-duty mode enable prolonged unattended operation during irrigation.
-
Owners of garden ponds and ponds – the AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures resistance to prolonged submersion, while the Vortex impeller made of PPO polymer and steel tolerates the fine organic suspensions typical of surface water.
-
Water collection system installers – the vertical 1½" connection and 10 m cable with plug enable quick and convenient installation and removal.
Applications
The QBO 100 is designed for pumping technically clean and lightly contaminated water – rainwater from storage tanks, surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as seawater, for irrigation and technical purposes, but not for drinking. The Vortex impeller made of PPO polymer and AISI 304 stainless steel, together with a 5 mm particle passage, allows operation with water containing fine organic suspensions typical of surface water and rainwater collection systems. The pump does not treat water – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The cooling jacket dissipates heat through the pumped medium, so the unit does not require complete submersion during operation. The built-in float automatically switches off the pump when the water level drops, protecting the motor from dry running. Thermal protection in the winding provides additional, independent motor protection during prolonged pumping cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – QBO 100 submersible pump
How does the QBO 100 differ from the QBO 45 and QBO 200?
All three models have the same design and operating principle – they differ in power and hydraulic parameters. QBO 45 (0.25 kW, 150 l/min, 7.5 m) is suitable for small installations with a single outlet. QBO 100 (0.75 kW, 275 l/min, 15 m) is the choice for several outlets or a longer discharge route. QBO 200 (1.5 kW, 334 l/min, 19 m) can handle the most extensive systems with large differences in elevation.
Is the QBO 100 suitable for supplying a garden with rainwater?
Yes – a capacity of 275 l/min and a 15 m head allow several irrigation sections to be supplied simultaneously. The built-in float ensures automatic operation without supervision, while the AISI 304 stainless steel construction guarantees durability during long-term immersion in a retention tank.
Can the pump operate with seawater?
Yes – the AISI 304 stainless steel used in the housing, casing, shaft, and impeller provides corrosion resistance when pumping seawater. This is one of the features that distinguishes the QBO series from standard submersible pumps made of cast iron or plastic.
I have a flooded basement – can the QBO 100 handle it?
Yes, provided the water is technically clean or contains only a small amount of organic silt. The 15 m head is sufficient to pump water from a basement several metres below ground level. For floodwater containing sand or larger solid contaminants, a pump from the SWQ series with a larger impeller passage would be a better choice.
Where can I buy the QBO 100 pump?
The pump is available from Dambat's commercial partners, specialist installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors. Dambat does not sell directly.
Where can I get service after the warranty expires?
Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat, Adamów 50, Grodzisk Mazowiecki. IPRO – 36 months (3 years) of the manufacturer's warranty.
