Application
The IBO QB series is designed for pumping technically clean, cold raw water from private surface-water intakes and shallow wells before treatment, as well as for increasing pressure in domestic, recreational and garden installations. The suction capacity of up to 8 m enables water to be drawn from typical shallow sources.
The device works with pressure tanks as well as pressure and flow controllers. QB series pumps operate in a horizontal position with a 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz power supply. The pump is not a water-treatment device – if water from a private source is to be used for drinking purposes, it must be appropriately treated.

IBO QB series pumps are single-stage peripheral units with a compact design and a built-in check valve. The body is made of cast iron, the shaft of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the impeller of brass. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the device from overheating.
The series includes two models: QB 60 (0.25 kW, up to 35 l/min, lifting height up to 35 m) and QB 80 (0.75 kW, up to 46 l/min, lifting height up to 65 m). Their unique design makes them a particularly convenient solution for installations with limited space.

What is the difference between the QB and WZI series?
Both series are IBO peripheral pumps with similar applications and specifications. The key difference is the check valve – WZI pumps have one built in, protecting the installation against water backflow without additional equipment. QB pumps do not have a check valve, so when building a pressure-system installation, it is recommended that one be installed separately in the system.
How do I choose the right model from the QB series?
QB 60 is suitable for lower demand (up to 35 l/min, lifting height up to 35 m), while QB 80 is suitable for higher demand (up to 46 l/min, lifting height up to 65 m). If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the Dambat technical department.
