Gray PVC ball check valve with glued connector
The gray PVC ball check valve is an element of the sewage system that allows the medium to pass only in one direction and prevents its reverse flow. There is a free ball inside the body - it rises under the pressure of the flow and falls, cutting off the return of the medium. The U-PVC body and EPDM ball and seals ensure resistance to sewage and typical sewage media.
For whom
-
Sewerage installers – the valve protects the installation against sewage flowing back from the stack or collector.
-
Pumping station and drainage contractors – protection of the pump and pipeline against backflow.
-
Owners of houses with gravity sewage – protection against flooding in the event of accumulation in the network.
-
Wholesale and installation services – simple glued or threaded assembly in typical diameters.
Application
The PVC ball check valve is used in sewage installations where it is necessary to prevent the backflow of sewage and media. It is mounted on the pipeline in the direction of flow, in a glued or threaded version. The ball inside the body opens and closes the flow automatically, without the need for control.
It is suitable for pumping stations, drainage systems and home sewage systems exposed to reverse flow. The size selection depends on the pipeline diameter. The gray PVC ball check valve is available in sizes 1¼", 1½" and 2".
Features of PVC ball check valve
The valve operates on the principle of a free ball closed in a body. Flow in the correct direction lifts the ball and opens the way for the medium, while the disappearance or reversal of flow causes the ball to fall onto the seat and cuts off the return. The operation is fully automatic and does not require power or maintenance.
The body is made of U-PVC, and the ball and seals are made of EPDM, resistant to sewage and typical sewage media. The valve is available in a glued version (to be pasted, without thread) in sizes from 1¼" to 2" and in a threaded version in size 2". The gray version has an opaque body.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – gray PVC ball check valve
What is a PVC ball check valve used for?
The PVC ball check valve allows the medium to pass only in one direction and prevents its backflow in the sewage system. This protects pumps, pipelines and rooms against the effects of backflow. Works automatically, without power supply.
What is the difference between the gray version and the transparent version?
The gray version has an opaque body, and the transparent version has a transparent body that allows you to observe the ball's operation and flow. Both versions have identical construction and parameters. The transparent window facilitates visual inspection and detection of contamination without disassembly.
How does a ball check valve work?
There is a free ball inside the body. Flow in the correct direction lifts it and opens the way for the medium, and the disappearance or reversal of flow causes the ball to fall on the seat and cuts off the return. The entire process is automatic.
Is the valve suitable for sewage?
Yes. The U-PVC body and EPDM ball and seals are resistant to sewage and typical sewage media. The valve is intended for sewage installations.
How to choose the size and installation method?
The size depends on the pipeline diameter - 1¼", 1½" and 2" connectors are available. The glued version is available in sizes from 1¼" to 2", and the threaded version is available in sizes 2". The maximum working pressure is PN10.
